Using tapestry weaving as a medium for portraits can
perhapsbe considered as a quite unusual choice. The challenge lies in giving the
essence of the person pportrayed, combined with exploiting the
tapestry techniques. As a preparation for weaving I have used drawing or
phptography. The models are all close relatives, or well known persons
